Yesterday I got the guilts as I sold BB's soul to the CBeebies Devil!!! After reading his Topsy and Tim book 5 times over (which I'm sure he could have actually read to me verbatim!) I decided that I really needed a few minutes (or 60!) to clean a bit and get lunch prepared - so I did my worst and drew him in with a 'oooh look Bob the Builder is on tv!'......(BB thinks Bob is a wooden character who lives in his toy basket!) He was hooked.
Then came Thomas (who'd previously only lived in the shed in his bedroom)
Then came the Teletubbies (he couldn't believe his eyes when his faithful companion Tinky Winky was actually on TV) and on it went.....
Hey it doesn't happen very often, and I got a bit of peace that I felt I needed.
Am I a bad person? I'm sure I can trade his soul back with a few chapters of Noddy........I hope!
